Everything you need to set up and grow your Bestry try-on store. Video walkthroughs are on the way for each guide.

Create your boutique

Get your shareable try-on store set up in a few minutes — no website or app needed.

▶

“Create your boutique” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Tap “Start selling free” and sign in with your Google account.
  2. 2Enter your boutique name (at least 3 characters), pick your country, and add your WhatsApp mobile number — this is where customer enquiries land. Your country sets your currency and time zone. City, region and postal code are optional. You may be asked to confirm your number with a one-time code sent on WhatsApp.
  3. 3You get your own link right away: bestry.shop/b/your-boutique. It never changes, even if you rename your boutique later, so it's safe to share.
  4. 4Bestry reviews every new store before it goes public. Until it's approved, only you can see your link (marked “Preview only”), and we email you the moment it's live.
  5. 5Add a few products (next guide) and share your link.

Tip: Use the same WhatsApp number your customers already message you on — you can change it any time from your dashboard.

Add a product

List a piece with a photo, name, price, SKU, category and who it's for. Every product is reviewed before it goes live.

▶

“Add a product” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1From your dashboard, tap “+ Add product”.
  2. 2Choose a photo (up to 8MB). Read the photo checklist on the form first — we don't remove backgrounds automatically, so upload a clean photo on a plain, light background.
  3. 3Enter the name, price and a SKU — your own inventory code, included in every WhatsApp enquiry so it's easy to match back to stock.
  4. 4Pick the category. Earrings, chains, rings and bangles all get live camera try-on; “Other” shows as a large product photo.
  5. 5Choose who it's for: Men, Women, Unisex, Boys, Girls or Unisex Kids. This is required — it decides which collections you can put the piece in and who sees it when shoppers filter.
  6. 6Tap the photo to set where it sits: the hook for earrings, roughly where a chain rests on the neck, the finger for rings, or the wrist for bangles. Skip it to use the default (top-centre).
  7. 7Optionally add up to 6 extra photos — angles, close-ups, packaging. Customers see them in the large photo view; they're never used for try-on.
  8. 8Tick any collections it belongs to, then submit for review. Once approved it appears on your link automatically.

Tip: Earrings should have the hook or top of the piece pointing up — that's where the try-on attaches it to the ear.

Manage your products

Track review status, edit details, mark pieces out of stock, and find things fast once your catalogue grows.

▶

“Manage your products” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Each product shows a status: pending (waiting for review), approved (live on your link) or rejected. A rejected product shows the reason — fix the issue and replace its photo to send it back for review.
  2. 2Tap Edit to change anything. Changing the photo sends the product back for review; price, category, gender, collections and stock changes go live right away.
  3. 3Tap the In stock / Out of stock badge to flip it. An out-of-stock piece stays on your store labelled as such and is left out of the try-on until you switch it back.
  4. 4Use the search box (name or SKU) and the category and status filters to find a product quickly.
  5. 5The ✕ button deletes a product permanently.
  6. 6The Free plan holds up to 15 products; Boutique and Pro are unlimited. Once Bestry has enabled trusted-seller auto-approval for you, new and edited products skip manual review.

Take great product photos

Good photos make the try-on look real. You don’t need a studio — a phone and a window will do.

▶

“Take great product photos” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Shoot in bright, indirect daylight — near a window is perfect.
  2. 2Use a plain, light background (a sheet of paper or a plain wall), fill most of the frame, and keep the phone steady to avoid harsh shadows or flash glare. Lay the piece flat or shoot it straight-on, not worn or held.
  3. 3Earrings: keep the hook or top edge pointing up.
  4. 4Chains: center the clasp near the top of the frame.
  5. 5Bangles: shoot straight-on, standing on edge — not lying flat.
  6. 6Rings: shoot face-up, front and center.

Tip: No time to shoot? Bestry Studio makes try-on-ready images for you from ₹149/image (₹99 at 25+) — see the Studio guide. A small neck-bust or ear-shaped display stand also gets the pose right every time.

Collections & who it's for

Group products into collections (Bridal, Daily wear, Festive) and tag everything by audience, so customers see the right pieces.

▶

“Collections & who it's for” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Go to the Collections tab, type a name and pick a gender: Men, Women, Unisex, Boys, Girls or Unisex Kids. There's no default — you choose one every time. Names must be unique (Bridal and bridal count as the same).
  2. 2When you add or edit a product, choose its gender first — only compatible collections then appear. Men's pieces show Men and Unisex collections; Women's show Women and Unisex; Unisex pieces show Men, Women and Unisex. Boys' show Boys and Unisex Kids; Girls' show Girls and Unisex Kids; Unisex Kids pieces show Boys, Girls and Unisex Kids. Adult and kids collections never mix.
  3. 3A piece can sit in more than one collection — e.g. a bracelet under both “Bracelets” and “Office Wear”.
  4. 4You can change a collection's gender later from its dropdown in the list. Deleting a collection never deletes its products. Once you have more than six collections, a search box appears.
  5. 5On your storefront, customers can filter by category and then by collection, and switch collections while trying on.

Add promotional banners

Show up to three banners in a rotating carousel at the top of your storefront — new arrivals, a festive sale, a seasonal greeting.

▶

“Add promotional banners” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Go to the Banners tab and upload an image. It must be wide — roughly 3:1 (for example 1200×400px) and under 4MB; anything too square or too tall is rejected because it would crop badly.
  2. 2Banners are image-only — there's no text overlay, so put any message (“Festive sale — 20% off”) into the image itself.
  3. 3Add an optional link for when it's tapped — a full web address or a page path.
  4. 4Toggle a banner between Shown and Hidden at any time, or remove it to make room for another.

Logo, look & your own link

Make the store yours: add a logo, pick a themed look, and choose a memorable link.

▶

“Logo, look & your own link” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Logo (all plans): open Boutique logo in your dashboard and upload a square PNG, ideally transparent, under 8MB. It shows on your storefront, in the try-on, and on photos customers share.
  2. 2Storefront look (Boutique and Pro): open Storefront look and pick one of six presets — Aurelia Gold, Midnight Bloom, Emerald Noir, Blush Ivory, Sapphire Frost or Onyx & Pearl. It applies to your storefront and try-on immediately. Free stores keep the default Aurelia Gold.
  3. 3Branded link (Boutique and Pro): open Branded subdomain and choose a name — 3 to 30 lowercase letters, numbers or hyphens, e.g. yourname.bestry.shop. Names are first come, first served; leave it blank and save to remove it. With a logo set, customers who install your store see your logo as its app icon.
  4. 4QR poster (needs a branded link): download a printable poster with a QR code to your store for your counter or shop window.
  5. 5Footer: on Boutique and Pro your storefront no longer shows the “Powered by Bestry” footer (Free stores keep it). Customer-shared photos keep a small Bestry mark on every plan.
  6. 6Custom domain (Pro add-on): want tryon.yourboutique.com? Message us and we'll set it up.

Tip: If you move back to the Free plan, your yourname.bestry.shop link stops working — your bestry.shop/b/ link keeps working on every plan.

Share your link & get orders

Your link is your storefront. Put it everywhere your customers already are.

▶

“Share your link & get orders” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Copy your link from the dashboard, or tap “Share on WhatsApp”. Once you have an approved product, “Preview storefront” opens your store so you can see what customers see.
  2. 2Add it to your Instagram bio, WhatsApp status, and customer chats.
  3. 3When a customer taps “Ask about this”, WhatsApp opens to you with the product name, SKU and price filled in — plus the second piece if they were wearing a combination.
  4. 4You handle price, payment, and delivery directly — Bestry never takes a commission.

Tip: Pin your link to your WhatsApp Business catalogue and Instagram Highlights for repeat traffic.

What your customers see

A quick tour of the shopper experience, so you know exactly what you're sending people to.

▶

“What your customers see” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1They open your link on their phone — no app, no account. If your catalogue covers more than one audience (say Women and Kids), a short prompt asks who they're shopping for and what they're after; only audiences and categories you have in stock are offered, and pills at the top let them change it any time.
  2. 2They browse by category and collection. Each product has Try on, Details (a large photo with any extra angles) and Ask.
  3. 3Trying on: they allow the camera once. Earrings and chains use the front camera on their face; rings and bangles use the back camera pointed at their hand.
  4. 4They swipe up or down for the next or previous design, tap the heart to save favourites, and can wear favourites together — an earring with a chain, or a ring with a bangle.
  5. 5The Capture button takes a photo of the look, with your logo and a small Bestry mark, and opens their share sheet (or downloads it).
  6. 6The “Ask about this” button messages you on WhatsApp, and the Offers bell lets them opt in to hear from you.
  7. 7Shoppers can also add your store to their home screen so it opens like an app.

Tip: Try it yourself on your phone before you share — open your link, try a piece on, and send yourself a Capture photo.

Bestry Studio (done-for-you images)

No photographer? Send us reference photos or the jewelry itself and we deliver polished, try-on-ready images.

▶

“Bestry Studio (done-for-you images)” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Open the Studio tab and start a request.
  2. 2Choose to upload reference photos, or to ship us the pieces — we share our studio address on WhatsApp after you submit.
  3. 3Tell us how many items. You'll see an estimate (₹149/image, ₹99 for 25+); the final price is confirmed by our studio team on your request, and once it's confirmed you can pay online right from the request.
  4. 4Follow progress on the request: Submitted, being processed, then Delivered.
  5. 5Once delivered, each image has a short form beside it: add a name, SKU, price, category, gender and where it sits, then tap “Add as product”. It goes through the usual review.

Understand what sells

See which designs get the most try-ons, likes, and enquiries so you can stock smarter.

▶

“Understand what sells” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Free: your Analytics tab shows how many times your link has been opened, plus a preview of what you'd unlock.
  2. 2Boutique and Pro: see unique visitors, try-on sessions, product views, likes, photos taken, shares, WhatsApp enquiries and opt-ins, plus a Top designs list of your most-tried and most-asked pieces.
  3. 3Pro adds advanced analytics: choose the last 7 or 30 days for a daily try-on trend chart, an engagement breakdown by type, and percentage changes against the previous period of the same length — so you can see which direction you're heading, not just lifetime totals.
  4. 4Restock winners and rework the pieces that aren’t getting attention.

Tip: Analytics are anonymous counts — they show what's popular, never who tried what.

Build your customer list (Pro)

Shoppers can opt in to hear from you while trying on — Pro lets you see who they are and reach back out.

▶

“Build your customer list (Pro)” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1When a shopper taps the Offers bell during try-on, they enter their WhatsApp number and tick a consent box (name is optional). They confirm the number with a one-time code, so nobody can add someone else's number.
  2. 2Confirmed opt-ins land in your Customers tab. On Pro you see the full list — names, numbers and when each person opted in.
  3. 3Tap “Message” next to anyone to open a WhatsApp chat with them directly, or download the whole list as a CSV.
  4. 4On Free and Boutique you'll see how many people have opted in, without the names and numbers, until you upgrade.

Your details, verification & vacation mode

Keep your store details current, and pause the store when you're away.

▶

“Your details, verification & vacation mode” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Store name & WhatsApp: edit either any time from your dashboard. Your link stays the same. The WhatsApp number must be a mobile number valid in your store's country. Country, currency, time zone and your storefront's language are under Region & currency.
  2. 2Verification: optional for now. Add your legal name, an ID type (Aadhaar, PAN card, Voter ID or Passport) and a photo of it — needed later for payouts or a plan upgrade. The photo is stored privately and is never shown on your store.
  3. 3Vacation mode: switch it on and add a short message — customers see it instead of your store until you turn it off.

Plans & billing

Start free, upgrade when you’re ready. Prepaid monthly or yearly, never auto-renewed, never a commission.

▶

“Plans & billing” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1Free: up to 15 products, your try-on link, WhatsApp orders.
  2. 2Boutique (₹999/mo, launch offer): unlimited products, storefront themes, a branded subdomain (yourname.bestry.shop) with a printable QR poster, and try-on analytics.
  3. 3Pro (₹2,499/mo): everything in Boutique, plus advanced analytics (trends and period comparisons), a customer list of everyone who's opted in on WhatsApp — exportable as a CSV — and dedicated WhatsApp support. Custom domains are available as a paid add-on — contact us.
  4. 4To upgrade, open Plan & billing in your dashboard, pick Boutique or Pro (monthly, or yearly for two months free) and pay online with UPI, card or netbanking. Your plan switches on immediately and a receipt is emailed and kept under Payment history.
  5. 5Plans never renew on their own — we email you 7 days and 1 day before yours ends. Renew early and the new time is added on top of what you have left. When a plan ends your store moves to Free: your products and link stay, but the 15-product limit applies and a branded subdomain pauses until you renew. Nothing is ever deleted.

Tip: Your bestry.shop/b/ link works on every plan; only the yourname.bestry.shop subdomain needs Boutique or Pro.

Troubleshooting

Quick fixes for the things sellers and shoppers run into most.

▶

“Troubleshooting” walkthrough video — coming soon

  1. 1My link shows “not found”: a new store isn't public until Bestry approves it — you'll get an email. Only you can see it before then.
  2. 2A product isn't showing: check its status — it may still be pending review, rejected (the reason is shown), or you may have hit the Free plan's 15-product limit. Out-of-stock pieces show as sold out and are left out of the try-on.
  3. 3“Preview storefront” is greyed out: it unlocks once you have at least one approved product.
  4. 4The camera won't start: the shopper needs to allow camera access in the browser; if it's still blocked, try opening the link in Chrome or Safari.
  5. 5Rings and bangles look reversed on a laptop: they're built for a phone's back camera. A laptop uses its webcam without mirroring, so movements feel backwards — use a phone.
  6. 6A piece sits in the wrong spot in try-on: edit the product and re-tap where it should hang or sit, or retake the photo following the photo guide.
  7. 7Can't pick a collection for a product: only collections compatible with the product's gender are shown — create one for that audience in the Collections tab.
